Your Planning Commission considers various land use matters such as Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Shoreline Conditional Use Permits, and for recommendations to City Council on matters such as Preliminary Subdivisions, Annexations, Municipal Code reviews, and Comprehensive Plan amendments.

The regular Commission meeting is held at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  The public is highly encouraged to attend.  Your voice is very important and you are encouraged to discuss any matter of concern, whether in support or opposition of an issue, or present any other matter related to the City of Tenino.  You may also take this opportunity to encourage and praise the dedicated work of these citizen volunteers.

The Commission also conducts study sessions at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  These are open meetings.  These meetings are intended as informational sessions for the Commission on matters under review and for training opportunities.
